Daniels Silverman joins the Credit Services Association as demand for debt collection rockets.

The membership coincides with continued increase in demand for Daniels Silverman’s services in 2010 with a 50% rise in clients. It recently signed its 20,000 customer and is working on more than 128,000 cases. Daniels Silverman has developed a unique debt recovery IT system, which significantly speeds up the debt collection process. The agency works with its clients to tailor innovative collection methods on a no recovery no fee basis. Carole Hughes, managing director, Daniels Silverman, says: Our membership of the CSA demonstrates our commitment to the highest industry standards and the success of Daniels Silverman in developing a professional and ethical business.

Across the UK businesses, large and small, are struggling to cope with chasing late payments. Many of our clients are coming to us on the brink of collapse because they have given up on recovering money that is owed to them. As difficult trading conditions continue, cash is king and keeping a tight rein on debt is more crucial than ever. “We have developed next generation debt recovery technology which means our debt recovery processes are cost effective and collection can begin immediately. We never purchase debts but work closely with our clients to ensure we have the correct details, that the appropriate debt collection methods are used and that reputations are maintained. We are uploading thousands of cases weekly and even in worst case scenarios where a debt has been written off we can still achieve recovery.

Claire Aynsley, head of membership, Compliance & Educational Services, Credit Services Association adds: “The association and its members are at the forefront of industry developments and are committed to high standards and best practice. All Members sign a declaration to adhere to both the word and spirit of the CSA Code of Practice which has become the benchmark for industry, and we ensure compliance to the Code of Practice through continuous monitoring. The Association welcomes Daniels Silverman as a member.”
